Introduction to UPS International Express
UPS International Express is the world's largest express carrier and parcel delivery company, but also a professional transportation, logistics, and e-commerce services leading providers.
First, UPS standard surcharges and related regulations
01. Fuel surcharge: quote does not include fuel surcharge, monthly according to UPS official online announcement!
02. Remote surcharge: minimum charge RMB195/ticket/fuel based on RMB4.0/KG fuel; (if the address is remote, upscaled to UPS according to zip code)
03. Change of address fee: according to RMB77/piece calculation, the maximum CHARGE273/ticket (the recipient has the right to change the delivery address, the surcharge incurred by the shipping fee payer, if due to the wrong address or the sender or recipient request to change the address, there will be a surcharge)
04. Tariff prepaid fees: calculated on RMB125.0/ticket, (locally likely destination duties, surcharges, more complex customs clearance fees, etc., if changed to prepaid or selected customs advances will be charged to the sender.)
05. Rejected refund fee: calculated on the basis of RMB78/ticket fuel, (if the guest refuses to accept or other reasons can not be returned, the refund fee and handling fee are to be paid;
06. Overweight surcharge: based on RMB40.0/piece;
07. Over-limit surcharge: based on RMB388.0/piece of fuel (see item C below)
08. Refusal fee: based on RMB80.0/ticket
09. Weekend delivery fee: Based on RMB100.0/ticket, UPS will charge this fee whenever selected, whether or not it is done.
10. Express Express Express Charges: RMB320.0/ticket calculation; (Select UPS Global Express Express Charges)
11. Declared premiums: rates are calculated at a rate of 0.42 per cent, with a minimum of 50rmb/ticket, and for shipments exceeding RMB777 per ticket, additional protection for the Declared Value Service is available to protect your goods from the risk of loss or damage. For each increase in RMB777, the value of the goods will be charged at RMB3.2, i.e. the declared premium.
12. Residential delivery: The local address of the recipient is a residential area (U.S., Bogota, Canada) to charge a minimum RMB23 fuel/ticket delivery fee this fee will not provide a bill, if you need to inquire, you can call UPS toll-free.
13. UPS channels suspend the collection of more than one ticket of goods with an average weight of less than 9 kg;
B.) UPS non-standard packaging is subject to ANMB40.0/piece fee (only $40 if multiple conditions are met), as shown in:
(1) Unilateral length of more than 152cm, or second length of more than 76cm plus RMB40 / piece
(2) Metal or wood non-UPS packaging materials and cylindrical items that cannot be fully packed into ordinary cartons, such as casks, drums, cylinders or tires
(3) If the individual piece (weight) exceeds 32 kg, 40RMB/piece will be charged.
C.) UPS oversized packaging will be charged RMB388.0/piece fuel charge, as shown in:
(1) If the total length of the edge exceeds 330cm, 388RMB/piece of oil shall be added, and the minimum billing weight of this item shall be 40KG/piece.
(2) Super UPS maximum limit UPS is not carrying, if transited, will be charged RMB388.0 / piece of oil, in line with the C (1) and B standards, the two surcharges will be charged at the same time.
(3) The maximum limit is shown in: unilateral more than 270cm, single piece more than 70kg, the total length of the edge is less than 419cm (i.e. 1 length, 2 width, 2 height <419cm) in any of the conditions.
D.) Charge of UPS billing weight (updated)
According to UPS's new 2014 regulations, the weight charge is based on the actual weight of each piece of goods compared to the volume weight, the weight is calculated, and then the weight of each piece is added back into position to arrive at the billed weight of a single piece of weight.
Less than 0.5 after the dosding point is calculated as 0.5, and more than 0.5 is calculated as the whole KG. For example, one ticket and three shipments, each weighing 10.2KG, 20.3KG, 30.4KG, corresponding to a product of 8.2KG, 15.1KG, 40.5KG, billed according to the old rules The weight is: 8.2 plus 15.1 plus 40.5 plus 63.8KG, while the new regulations are: 10.2 plus 20.3 plus 40.5 plus 72KG, please pay special attention.
Commercial invoices and bill of lading requirements:
1. Need to be detailed (recipient information, quantity of goods, product name should have material and use), now need more customs requirements to provide "sending factory details"
2. The declared value of the goods in the commercial invoice is only allowed in USD, EUR or destination currency, and the word "MADE IN CHINA" of origin is required on the invoice
3. Shipping slips are regularly filled in: UPS service mode (normal SAVER), freight payment (normal prepaid), customs payment (normal to pay), if the choice of the method is not the same as above, to confirm with us separately.
4. Battery products, battery-containing products, watches, tools, magnetic, cartridges, etc. are required;
5. Textiles must provide the parts: (e.g. 100% POLYESTER), U.S. goods are best to bring their own export certificate.
6. Requirements for goods sent to the United States: Both the goods and INVs are preferably "MADE IN CHINA" to facilitate customs clearance at the destination.
Notes and compensation regulations
1. Non-carrying items include: imitation cards, liquids, powders, food, fresh goods, drugs, corrosive articles, flammable and explosive weapons and other contraband;
2. Fragile goods please customers to pack their own, otherwise after the break-up of the Division is not responsible for, if the goods in operation lost, broken, compensation in accordance with international practice compensation, not more than USD100.0, regardless of its commercial utility to the sender or special value. Over USD100.0 value, commercial insurance is recommended.
3. UPS refused to pack bad goods, packaging must be good, such as because the packaging is not good, express damage, ups transshipment, part of the loss or delay are not compensated. For the whole ticket express all lost, we will be based on the declared value of compensation, but the maximum amount of compensation is USD100, shipping costs will not be compensated.
4. For goods of high value, it is recommended to purchase insurance for the goods yourself or to purchase them from UPS. The UPS premium is 4.2 per thousand and the insured amount does not exceed the declared value. Express damage or loss and other issues, the consequest must be 48 hours after signing to the destination complaint, the destination service provider will be accepted complaints will provide Reference Number, the sending agent must use this Reference Number within 7 days to make a claim against us, while providing details of the goods such as consumables, invoices, and Reference Number, the detailed photos of the goods damage (including internal and external packaging conditions and damages) or the expiration of our company will not accept. 5. UpS exports to Iran have no service for documents and packages; Micronesia UPS is no more than 30KG per piece
6. For shipments transferred to Mexico through UPS, if a claim value of more than 1000USD is required to provide CO for local customs clearance, a re-export certificate is required for textile shipments transferred to the United States through UPS
