Industrial Action
The Air Traffic Control Union called for industrial action on 6 April 2022. Air traffic to and from Greece may be affected, especially in Athens and Thessaloniki.
Peru (PE)
curfew
As protests against high fuel and fertilizer prices turned violent, the Peruvian government imposed curfews in major cities, including Lima. Due to the blockage of some major roads, transfers in some parts of Peru may also be temporarily affected.
Zimbabwe (ZW), Kenya (KE), Uganda (UG)
Technical issues in the customs system
Customs clearance processes in Zimbabwe, Kenya and Uganda may be disrupted for some time due to technical issues in the customs system, including the Asycharyay asypatial Automation System (ASYCUDA World System) in Zimbabwe and Uganda and the Integrated Customs Management System (ICMS) in Kenya.
Sri Lanka (LK)
Power shortages
In response to the ongoing power shortage and the use of fuel to generate electricity, the Sri Lankan government announced that it will extend the daily blackout period from 7.5 hours to 13 hours, effective March 31, 2022. During a power outage, telecommunications and Internet services may be disrupted. At the same time, diesel supply at gas stations will also be suspended from April 1, 2022. Due to limited fuel supply, there may be some delays for the transfer service until further notice.
