Imported Medicines, Medicines and Proprietary Chinese Medicines (Reminder)
According to Hong Kong's import and export regulations, only importers with import licences issued by the Ministry of Health can import medicines, medicines and proprietary Chinese medicines into Hong Kong.
These licensed importers are mainly registered clinics, hospitals or drug dealers. Therefore, the import of pharmaceutical-related products imported by the Hong Kong Customs and Excise Department cannot be cleared through customs procedures.
